PRODUCTION FACILITIES and MACHINING CAPABILITY
Mavel is ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 3834-2:2005 certified. All turbines are manufactured at one of two Mavel Czech Republic production facilities. These facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art customized machine tools as well as traditional production technology. Innovations include a 6-axis machining center put into operation in 2013 and a 5-axis milling machine installed in 2010. Turbine runners are milled on CNC machines from either castings or forgings. Final assembly is completed in one of the two halls where each turbine is fully assembled, fitted and tested prior to preparation for transport.
