Benesov, Czech Republic and Boston, MA – 11 July 2016 – Mavel Americas, Inc., a 100% owned subsidiary of Mavel, a.s. (“Mavel”), announced that it received an order for a Kaplan ‘S’ turbine for the new Crocker Pond Hydroelectric Power Plant (“Crocker Pond HPP”) located in Westminster, MA.

Nakano, Japan and Benesov, Czech Republic – 31 December 2015 – .  Mavel, a.s. (“Mavel”) announced the commissioning in 2015 of two hydroelectric power plants utilizing Mavel turbine technology in the central Honshu region of Japan.

Benešov, Czech Republic – 15 November 2015 – Mavel, a.s. announced the delivery of five turbines and related equipment for the 24.3 MW Polotskaya Hydroelectric Project (“Polotskaya HPP” or the “Project”) located on the West Dvina River in the Republic of Belarus.  The Project is owned by RUE Vitebskenergo and financing was provided by the Eurasian Development Bank.
