Benešov, Czech Republic – 20 April 2006.  Mavel, a.s. announced that one its MT5 Turbines was installed adjacent to the historic Togetsukyo Bridge in Kyoto, Japan. The installation site has head of 1.34 meters and flow of 0.53 cubic meters per second. The installed power is 4.3 kW, enough to illuminate the historic bridge and the nearby hillside.
